Brain Injury Association Northland

The Brain Injury Association Northland provides free support, advice to individuals, families/whanau that have suffered a brain injury. We also provide education relating to what is the ‘invisible injury’ to corporates, community groups, schools and carers throughout Te Tai Tokerau.

How has being part of The Brain Injury Association assisted you?

“The Biggest support that he has had through the BIA is having the option to be a part of the monthly support group. He likes the social support that comes with the meetings. He also supports others, who he has found that other people have tried to do too much too fast. He is the one who has to ground them and bring them back to reality. You could say he is the one who guides them down the right path.”
